The project

This project involved the construction of a striking 10m x 5m rectangular concrete swimming pool with a consistent 1.3m depth for a discerning customer seeking both elegance and practicality. The goal was to create a sophisticated outdoor living space that would provide years of enjoyment whilst maintaining exceptional value.

The pool features a stunning full green mosaic finish that creates a vibrant, contemporary aesthetic. An automatic slatted cover in aquamarine colour provides both safety and energy efficiency, seamlessly integrating into the pool’s design. The filtration system, housed discretely in a purpose-built small shed, utilises a reliable Hayward pump with standard filtration to ensure pristine water quality year-round.

Constructed using concrete block with comprehensive horizontal and lateral reinforcement, this pool demonstrates superior structural integrity. The customer specifically chose our concrete construction over liner alternatives, recognising the exceptional value we offered for a premium concrete solution. The surrounding area features elegant stone paving that complements the pool’s modern design, whilst a charming small summerhouse provides the perfect retreat for relaxed summer evenings.
The entire project was executed in-house, showcasing our comprehensive expertise and eliminating the complexities of coordinating multiple contractors. Despite challenging site access, our team utilised a compact excavator with track barrow system to efficiently remove all spoil from the location.

The construction process required careful planning to integrate all elements seamlessly. The result was a harmonious blend of functionality and visual appeal.
